Recipient of numerous awards and accolades, Randhir Khare has published ten volumes of poetry, performed his work to music, has led three poetry-music bands and inspired artists and photographers. He has collaborated with A. R. Rahman who has set his poems to music. Though he is also well known as a novelist, essayist, playwright and artist, he believes that poetry is his calling.
